The Par Plan Claims Services
As a direct extension of our Risk Control program, the Claims Department stands ready when and if an incident turns into a claim. A published Service Standards guarantees that all claims, when received, will be assigned for handling the same day the claim is received and that contact with the insured member and involved claimants will take place within the 24 hours from the date of assignment.
Additionally, all claims received will be acknowledged to the agent or risk manager within 48 hours from the date received. The Plan also guarantees no "stale" or unmatched mail over 3 days old.
Assurance of adherence to these Service Standards is maintained through internal and external audits.
