Greg, a licensed attorney who brings 25 years of experience with the Michigan State Police (MSP) to TMHCC, is the head of our Risk Control Team. During his tenure at the MSP, Greg had operational oversight of the department’s Public Affairs, Government Relations, Risk Management and Litigation Coordination, Internal Affairs, Training, and Human Resources. He served as the liaison between the Attorney General and the MSP for legal matters including the oversight of all department-related litigation including employment, wrongful death, use of force, unlawful arrest, FOIA, and civil rights claims.
Mike joined TMHCC after serving as a law enforcement officer with Oscoda Township for 14 years. His knowledge of police policies and procedures as well as department operations is extremely valuable to the team. His experience as an officer provides the team with insight into the risk control process from an officer’s perspective. Mike is also a Master Sergeant with 23 years of combined active duty United States Air Force and Michigan National Guard service. Mike serves our accounts in the northeastern region of the Lower Peninsula.
Pat was the Fire Chief for Bridgeport Charter Township for 17 years. His knowledge in the operations of the fire service include department operations, policy and procedure development and OSHA, MIOSHA, DEQ, DNR, and NFPA compliance. In addition to his fire service background, Pat also brings 10 years of ordinance enforcement and information technology experience to the team. His IT knowledge makes him an asset in cybersecurity risk mitigation. Pat represents our accounts in the southeastern region of the Lower Peninsula.
After serving as the Clerk for the Charter Township of Caledonia for 13 years, Jennifer brought her extensive municipal experience to the TMHCC risk control team. Her involvement in the operations of local government as an elected official offers a unique perspective to risk control. She is experienced and knowledgeable on the Freedom of Information Act, Open Meetings Act, and the administrative operations of a municipal office. As a board member she also gained experience in the world of zoning and planning. Jennifer represents our accounts in the southwestern region of the Lower Peninsula
Lori serves all our Upper Peninsula accounts. Having served as the office manager for Republic Township for seven years, Lori brings a wealth of knowledge on municipal operations to the TMHCC Risk Control Team. She has experience navigating Freedom of Information Act issues as well as public policy. In addition to her municipal experience, she was also a licensed insurance agent for 13 years specializing in personal, commercial and specialty lines of insurance.
